The results of the third Contracts for Difference (CfD) allocation round in the UK were announced on September 20. Almost 5.5 GW of offshore wind projects were on the list. "Offshore wind is a British success story, with new projects at record low prices creating new opportunities for jobs and economic growth as we leave the EU," said energy minister Kwasi Kwarteng.
