As many as 12 companies and consortia have been pre-qualified in a 250-MW solar tender in Ethiopia as part of the World Bank Group's Scaling Solar programme.

Selected bidders will be invited to take part in the final part of the competitive selection, which will assess proposals primarily on the basis of the lowest offered tariff. The full list of pre-qualified candidates can be seen in the table.
