Spain’s Acciona Energia (BME:ANE) said on Tuesday that it has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with US plastic packaging products maker Berry Global Group Inc (NYSE:BERY), committing to supply 100% renewable energy for the manufacturer’s facilities in Mexico.

The PPA, which will run for five years, will ensure that Berry Global is delivered close to 100 GWh of renewable energy per year at a stable price. The company will use that supply to power its facilities in San Luis Potosi, Cuautitlan Izcalli, Atlacomulco and Tlalnepantla, Acciona Energia said.
