Mingyang sets up wind turbine manufacturing JV in S Korea
Sep 05, 2024 13:32 CESTNov 11, 2013 - Spanish renewable energy firm Acciona (MCE:ANA) agreed to sell Yeong Yang Wind Power
Corporation, an operator of a 61.5-MW wind farm, Yeong Yang 1, in the South Korean province of Gyeongsangbuk-Do, for KRW 162 billion (USD 151m/EUR 113m).
The deal includes a KRW 28-billion net debt and was inked via Acciona's unit Acciona Energia Inversiones Corea, the Spanish firm said in a regulatory filing today. The buyer is a company wholly owned by a South Korean investment fund.
The agreement is subject to several conditions whose fulfillment is expected before the end of 2013.
