Jordan Green agrees land deal for solar-powered green ammonia hub
Sep 20, 2024 5:52 CESTAfghanistan’s Ministry of Energy & Water (MEW) last week invited interested parties to bid for the development of a 40-MW solar project at the Hisar-e-Shahi Industrial Park of Nanagrahar.
Companies and consortia can submit applications in response to the prequalification document by October 16, 2019.
This stage of the auction will end with the shortlisting of applicants able to participate in the Request for Proposals (RfP) stage. Up to six bidders can be shortlisted. After that, the ministry will choose preferred bidders.
The project will be developed by a public private partnership (PPP) under the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model. The winner of the bidding process will be in charge of the design, construction and commissioning of the solar park, as well as its operation and maintenance.
