Deutsche Windtechnik wins turbines maintenance contract in Sweden
Sep 19, 2024 14:55 CESTSwedish energy and infrastructure consultancy AFRY (STO:AFRY) has acquired Dutch renewables-focused peer BLIX to expand its expertise in the offshore and onshore wind market.
The purchase will help Afry cover the entire project life cycle from the early strategy phase to the execution and operation of the wind farm, the buyer said in a press release.
The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
BLIX offers development support, tendering and contracting, construction management and strategic advice for offshore and onshore wind as well as for solar and hydrogen projects. The company has offices in the Netherlands, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea, employing 25 people. The business reports annual sales of about SEK 50 million (USD 4.74m/EUR 4.46m).
