Aussie telecom group Telstra inks PPA for 260 MW of solar in NSW
Sep 16, 2024 12:34 CESTUS industrial gases company Air Products (NYSE:APD) on Wednesday said that its Taiwan-based unit signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) to procure solar energy for local operations.
It is a ten-year PPA signed between Air Products San Fu and Tatung Forever Energy, a subsidiary of Taiwanese conglomerate Tatung Co.

The contract will begin in the fourth quarter of 2024. Under the terms, Air Products San Fu will source a portion of its energy consumption for industrial gases production from a reliable and renewable energy sources. The procurement will enable the company avoid carbon dioxide emissions equivalent the electricity-related emissions from more than 80,000 households in Taiwan over the duration of the agreement, Air Products said.
Details about the solar power source were not provided.
