Albania plans to abolish value added tax (VAT) levied on imports of photovoltaic equipment, finance and economy minister Arben Ahmetaj has said.
The standard VAT rate in Albania is 20%. Taxable transactions include goods and services supplied domestically as well as imports.
The plan will be discussed by the government this week, Ahmetaj said in a statement last Sunday.
