World set to install 593 GW of new solar in 2024 - Ember
Sep 19, 2024 13:28 CEST(ADPnews) - Jun 30, 2011 - The revenue of German photovoltaic (PV) technology producer Aleo Solar (ETR:AS1) grew in April and May 2011 "after a restrained first quarter", CEO York zu Putlitz said at yesterday's general annual meeting.
In addition to Aleo's core markets in Europe, the company will increasingly serve markets outside Europe, such as the USA, Australia and Israel, the CEO said.
At the general meeting, shareholders endorsed the actions of the executive and supervisory boards. A decision was taken to retain the accumulated profits from 2010 within the company for the purposes of growth.
Aleo Solar, a subsidiary of German technology group Robert Bosch GmbH, earlier reported falling earnings and revenue for the first quarter of 2011, affected by weak demand on the domestic market.
