Portugal-based CJR Renewables announced today that it has completed the installation of all wind turbines at the 162-MW Matkussaari wind project in Finland.

The job was done under a contract with German wind turbine maker Nordex SE (ETR:NDX1) signed in December. CJR installed 27 machines of the Nordex N163_TS148 type, each of 6 MW.

The Matkussaari project is executed in the Ostrobothnia region and is part of the Viiatti wind complex.

Back in March 2022, Nordex secured an order from French project developer Valorem to supply turbines for two wind projects -- Matkussaari and Kalistanneva, in western Finland of a combined 313.5 MW.
