Renewables rise and Russian gas declines, says EC report
Sep 12, 2024 11:11 CESTJan 22, 2014 - French heavy engineering group Alstom (EPA: ALO) said yesterday it had signed two contracts worth EUR 30 million (USD 40.6m) to deliver, install and commission ECO 110 wind turbines for the 24 MW Hartelkanaal wind farm, located in the port of Rotterdam, in the Netherlands.
Under the terms of the agreements, Alstom will also provide operation and maintenance services over a period of 15 years.
The two contracts were awarded by Investment Engineering, a renewable energy developer in the Netherlands, Alstom stated.
Investment Engineering explained it had selected Alstom because of the best price performance ratio in the tender and the low noise emission of the ECO 110 turbines, among others.
The Hartelkanaal wind farm will provide electricity to more than 20,000 households thanks to its location.
