Eurowind, Wind Estate set up EUR-400m wind JV in Denmark
Sep 18, 2024 11:01 CESTDec 19, 2012 - Danish wind turbine maker Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CPH:VWS) is likely to need to carry out another capital increase, local newswire Ritzau Finans said Tuesday, citing an analyst poll.
Eight out of the 10 analysts who participated in the poll by news agency Reuters expect that Vestas will carry out a share issue by the end of 2014. Two of these eight analysts expect that this will happen already in 2013, while the rest see the move coming in 2014.
Vestas will need to raise fresh capital some time in 2014, probably in the amount of an expiring bond, Sydbank analyst Jacob Pedersen was quoted as saying to Reuters. Pedersen referred to the company's EUR-600-million (USD-794.6m) bond, which expires in March 2015.
