Brazil's Piaui govt clears operations for 300-MW wind park
Sep 12, 2024 9:29 CESTMar 5, 2013 - Brazilian energy sector regulator Aneel has authorised the start of commercial operations at the 18-MW Pedra Branca wind power plant, local news portal Canal Energia said yesterday.
The facility has a total six turbines and is situated in the Sento Se municipality of northeastern Bahia state.
According to Canal Energia, Aneel has also allowed the commercial launch of four turbines with capacity of 3 MW each at the neighbouring Sao Pedro do Lago wind plant.
