Iberdrola inaugurates 496-MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm offshore France
Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CESTApr 30, 2012 - Angola's government will invest in the development of 130 solar power projects to supply power to schools and health centres, Malaysian national news agency Bernama reported today, citing Angolan Energy and Water Minister Joao Baptista Borges.
The government intends to develop the projects in rural areas to meet the energy needs of local residents, Borges said, speaking at the sixth German-African Energy Forum held last week in Germany.
In addition, the minister met with Germany's State Secretary of Economy, Stefan Kafaferer, and discussed issues related to a possible collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce of Hamburg, the news agency added.
