Chinese solar tracker manufacturer Arctech Solar Holding Co Ltd (SHA:688408) announced that it has set foot on the Israeli market with an 11.457-MW order for its SkyLine II solar tracking system.

The contract was signed with Israeli telecommunications and energy firm Nextcom Ltd (TLV:NXTM), according to a press release published today.

Arctech has already realised a number of projects in the Middle East, including the 607-MW IBRI II project in Oman and the 2.1-GW Al Dhafra PV2 project in Abu Dhabi.

Nextcom specialises in the planning, construction and maintenance of infrastructure and solutions for the communications and renewable energy sector. The company in April signed an ILS-41-million (USD 11.0m/EUR 10.1m) contract with Doral Renewable Energy Resources Group Ltd to build three solar-plus-storage projects across two sites in Israel.
