Haffner Energy decides to spin off SAF business
Sep 13, 2024 16:01 CESTSep 12, 2011 - French nuclear group Areva (EPA:AREVA) announced on Friday it will lead a consortium, which will build a cogeneration biomass plant on the Tricastin nuclear site in Pierrelatte, southeastern France.
The consortium will include also local supplier of industrial boilers Leroux & Lotz Technologies (LLT).
The contract, awarded to the nuclear group by heating networks operator Coriance, is worth EUR 45 million (USD 61.2m). Under it, Areva will be in charge of the design, construction, installation and commissioning of the biomass plant. It will also supply all necessary equipment except of the boiler which will be provided by LLT.
The site is scheduled to be operational in the fourth quarter of 2012.
Today at 1405 CET shares in Areva had eased 0.93% to EUR 20.15 on Euronext Paris.
