Australian solar window company ClearVue Technologies Ltd (ASX:CPV) has agreed on a two-year manufacturing and distribution partnership for its solar photovoltaic (PV) glazing products in the US with Florida-based Advanced Impact Technologies Inc (AITI).

The newly-signed deal provides for AITI to be the exclusive manufacturer and distributor for the supply of the ClearVue PV Insulated Glass Unit (IGU) smart facade solutions within the states of Massachusetts and Florida. In addition, it has received sole rights to supply these products within the other US states, excluding Pennsylvania, and Canada.

AITI is part of Advanced Impact Technologies Group Inc, or AIT Group, which includes related companies LTI Smart Glass Inc and School Guard Glass LLC.

Victor Rosenberg, executive chairman of ClearVue, pointed out that its new partner has lamination and fabrication capability in both the Southern and Northern US.

“The intent behind this first agreement is to immediately commence manufacture and supply and then to explore a deeper relationship together in the form of a joint venture or other more integrated relationship as both parties can already see a long and mutually beneficial relationship going forward,” Rosenberg added.
