Romania's CIS Group to build 23-MW solar park at home
Sep 19, 2024 9:59 CESTThe Romanian unit of Austria's Biogest, First Biogaz, has invested about 5.3 million euro ($6 million) in a biogas-fuelled plant in Romania, Banca Comerciala Romania (BCR), which financed the project, said on Tuesday.
The plant, located in Ardud town in the northwestern county of Satu-Mare, has an installed power of 1.5 MW, BCR said in a statement.
The business of Biogest covers design, planning, funding, turn-key construction and operation of plants with installed capacities ranging from 100 KW to 3,500 KW.
BCR, a unit of Austria's Erste, is Romania's largest bank in terms of assets.
