AGP-Europe signs VPPA with Rezolv for 229-MW solar project in Bulgaria
Sep 05, 2024 12:07 CESTAustrian energy group Enery has started design works for the construction of a 200 MW solar park in Bulgaria, the mayor of the Bulgarian town of Chirpan was quoted as saying by local media.
The company is planning to invest 10 million euro ($12.1 million) in a new power substation and the necessary power lines to connect the new solar park to the grid, Bulgarian media outlet Monitor reported earlier this week.
The solar park will be located on 140 hectares of land. The municipality plans to issue a construction permit to Enery without selling the land to the company.
Last year, Enery acquired the owner and the operator of the 60.4 MWp Karadzhalovo solar park in Bulgaria.
