Sep 18, 2024 13:50 CESTBelgian renewable energy company Electrawinds said it launched a 11.4 million euro ($14.98 million) wind farm in Bulgaria.
The wind farm is located in Shabla, on the Black Sea coast, and consists of eight wind turbines with a combined annual output of 15,700 megawatt hours (MWh), the company said in a statement published on its website on Thursday.
Its annual output is sufficient to cover the needs of 4,500 households.
Electrawinds started construction works on the farm in June as part of its expansion strategy in eastern Europe.
