US biotechnology company Biogen Inc (NASDAQ:BIIB) has committed to fully electrifying its fleet of 1,605 vehicles as part of the EV100 initiative, it was announced on Tuesday.

Signing up to the initiative of non-profit organisation The Climate Group, Biogen has also committed to deploying infrastructure for workplace charging at 30 corporate locations.

The news was announced by The Climate Group on Twitter, where it was also confirmed by Biogen.

EV100 is a global initiative with 70 members from around the world committed to helping speed up the transition to electric vehicles (EVs) by 2030.
