Exus Renewables has secured contracts to provide technical and commercial asset management for a 350-MW portfolio of solar photovoltaic projects spread across Spain, a press release said on Monday.

Southern Europe-focused independent power producer (IPP) BNZ tapped Exus to serve as its asset manager for 11 projects and one holding company, Exus said.

The portfolio consists of projects with a planned commercial operation date (COD) scheduled for the period between May 2024 and June 2025.

The scope of the contracts spans full technical and financial asset management, oversight of the operational aspects of the plants, including regular maintenance and performance monitoring. BNZ will receive advice and access to Exus’ custom solar optimisation and reporting tool BlueSky, and have the ability to analyse, maximise and set performance benchmarks across all projects.

The Spanish renewables developer and asset manager will also provide BNZ with comprehensive financial management for the projects before they reach COD. This will include detailed financial planning and reporting to ensure all projects are financially sound and prepared for successful operations, Exus added.
