The president of Bolivia, Evo Morales, said on Saturday that the country will have 549 MW of renewable power capacity by 2020.

During his speech, president Morales mentioned some of the upcoming renewable energy generation projects across the country. In regards to wind projects, he presented four schemes with a combined capacity of 120 MW and a current investment of USD 96 million (EUR 84.7m). Some of the projects are still in the process of raising funds.
