Bosnian renewable energy company Eco-Wat plans to build a 150 MW solar power plant in the southwestern city of Stolac, a filing with the Federation environment ministry showed.

Eco-Wat submitted a request with the entity's environment ministry for a preliminary environmental impact assessment (EIA) study for the construction of a 220-kilometre transmission line and a substation as part of the project, the ministry said in a filing last week.

The public can examine the request and submit an opinion within 30 days from the publication of the notice.

The Federation is one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
