Bosnia's Elektroprivreda HZHB plans to build 132 MW wind farm in Rakitno

Bosnian power utility Elektroprivreda HZHB plans to build a 132 MW wind farm near Rakitno, in the southern part of the country, a company official said.

The feasibility study for the project that will comprise 20 wind turbines has been completed, Elektroprivreda HZHB head of communications, Marija Buntic, said in a video file posted on the YouTube channel of local TV station RTV HB on Saturday.

The power utility is in the process of organising a tender for the preparation of project documents, Buntic added.

The Poklecani wind farm is part of the public investment programme of the government of Bosnia's Federation, local news portal eKapija reported.

The total value of the project will be known once the preparation of the project documentation is completed, eKapija added.

Elektroprivreda HZHB, the smallest of the three Bosnian state-owned power utilities, is based in the Federation, one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other entity is the Serb Republic.
