Bosnia's Federation net electricity output fell to 583 GWh in July, from 677 GWh in the same month last year, the entity's statistical office said on Thursday.

Electricity imports plummeted to 53 GWh in July from 203 GWh a year earlier, while exports dropped to 63 GWh from 242 GWh, the Federation's statistical office said in a statement.

The net electricity output of hydro power plants decreased to 142 GWh last month, from 227 GWh in July 2019, while the output of thermal power plants edged down to 441 GWh from 450 GWh.

On a monthly comparison basis, net electricity output in July was higher than June's 469 GWh.

Month-on-month, the Federation's electricity imports fell 22% in July, while exports remained unchanged.

The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
