Bosnia's Federation net electricity output fell to 469 GWh in June, from 673 GWh in the same month last year, the entity's statistical office said.

Electricity imports plummeted to 68 GWh in June from 231 GWh a year earlier, while exports dropped to 63 GWh from 174 GWh, the Federation's statistical office said in a statement on Monday.

The net electricity output of hydro power plants decreased to 141 GWh last month, from 357 GWh in June 2019, while the output of thermal power plants rose to 328 GWh from 316 GWh.

On a monthly comparison basis, the net electricity output in June was higher than May's 436 GWh.

Month-on-month, the Federation's electricity imports rose 21.4% in June, while exports fell 33%.

The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
