The net electricity output of Bosnia's Federation fell to 608 GWh in October, from 667 GWh in the same month last year, the entity's statistical office said.

Electricity imports dropped to 53 GWh in October from 87 GWh a year earlier, while exports rose to 197 GWh from 185 GWh, the Federation's statistical office said in a statement on Friday.

The net electricity output of hydro power plants decreased to 235 GWh in October, from 295 GWh in the same month of 2019, while the output of thermal power plants edged up to 373 GWh from 372 GWh.

On a monthly comparison basis, the Federation's net electricity output in October was higher than September's 592 GWh.

Month-on-month, the Federation's electricity imports soared 121% in October, while exports fell 4.2%.

The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
