Bosnia's Serb Republic launched a tender for awarding a 50-year concession contract for the construction of a 10 MW solar power plant worth an estimated 15.37 million marka ($8 million/7.9 million), the entity's energy ministry said.

The solar plant, to be built on a 39.2-hectare land plot in the municipality of Bileca, will have an annual output of some 16.5 GWh, the Serb Republic's energy ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

The deadline for the submission of bids is September 5.

The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
