Bosnia’s Serb Republic oks 6.0 mln euro hydro project loan deal with KfW

BANJA LUKA (Bosnia and Herzegovina), December 10 (SeeNews) – Bosnia’s Serb Republic said it has approved a 6.0 million euro ($7.74 million) loan deal with Germany's KfW Bank for a hydro project.

The loan will finance the third phase of the rehabilitation of hydro power complex Hidroelektrane na Trebisnjici, the Serb Republic government said in statement on Thursday.

The government decision has been submitted for approval to parliament.

Hidroelektrane na Trebisnjici, comprising three hydro power plants along the Trebisnjica river, is located in the southern part of the Serb Republic, which forms Bosnia and Herzegovina together with the Muslim-Croat Federation.
