Iberdrola inaugurates 496-MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm offshore France
Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CESTThe government of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Serb Republic said it will establish a unit of power utility Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske (ERS) that will be in charge of the production and sale of electricity generated by wind farms.
After its establishment, Vjetroparkovi Elektroprivrede Republike Srpske will be tasked with the preparation and development of a project for the construction of the Donja Trusina wind power plant, planned to be built by 2024, the entity's government said in a statement on Thursday.
The founding capital of the new company will amount to 150,000 marka ($78,000/77,000 euro).
ERS is a state-owned holding company operating electricity generation and distribution companies.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
