SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), February 25 (SeeNews) – Bosnian company TLG doo Travnik has filed an application for an environmental permit for the construction of the Vlasic wind park with a capacity of approximately 50 MW, the municipality of Travnik, were the wind park will be located, said.

TLG plans to install 20 wind turbines with a capacity of 2.3 MW each, the Travnik municipality said in a statement on its website last week.

The construction of the 130 million euro ($148 million) wind park is expected to start next year, news portal eKapija reported on Wednesday, quoting TLG’s director Zoran Vujovic.

TLG will also need urban planning and construction permits to launch the project.

Vlasic is a mountain near the city of Travnik in the central part of the Federation, one of the two entities that form Bosnia. The other is the Serb Republic.
