Iberdrola inaugurates 496-MW Saint-Brieuc wind farm offshore France
Sep 19, 2024 16:25 CESTThe environment ministry of Bosnia's Federation said it has received a request by local company VE Gradina to conduct a preliminary environmental impact assessment (EIA) for a planned 72.6 MW wind farm in the Tomislavgrad municipality.
VE Gradina plans to install 11 wind turbines with a capacity of 6.6 MW each, the Federation's environment ministry said in a statement earlier this week.
The public can examine the request and submit an opinion within 30 days from the announcement.
Under a separate project, China National Technical Import & Export Corporation and Powerchina Resources plan to launch the construction of the Ivovik wind farm in the municipality of Tomislavgrad in 2022. The wind farm will have an installed capacity of 84 MW and its construction will cost 130 million euro ($141.6 million), the municipal council said earlier.
The Federation is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
