Bravo Infrastructure Group LLC (BIG) today announced the takeover of Radiance Solar LLC, an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor specialising in solar projects for commercial and industrial (C&I) customers in the US.

Radiance Solar was founded in 2007 and is based in Atlanta, Georgia. To date, the firm has installed more than 125 MW of solar power generating capacity throughout more than 300 sites across the southeastern US and Mexico. The type of projects undertaken by Radiance include ground-mounts, rooftops, and canopies, including systems with battery storage. It also has a large operations and maintenance (O&M) business.

BIG noted that in order to complete the transaction, it teamed up with capital solutions provider Orion Infrastructure Capital (OIC).

“Radiance will be the perfect complement to BIG’s other solar platform, Sunshine Solar, LLC, the second largest C&I mechanical installation firm in the US. With OIC as a partner, both companies are strongly capitalised, and we expect both to benefit from the significant growth and tailwinds in solar deployment,” commented Steve Newby, owner of BIG.
