BP Bunge chairman becomes president of BP in Brazil
Sep 09, 2024 14:06 CESTBrazilian sugar exporter and cellulosic ethanol producer Raizen SA (BVMF:RAIZ4) will adopt a solution developed by ION Commodities to manage its commodities portfolios of sugar, biofuels, fossil fuels, and renewable certificates.
ION Commodities announced this today, saying that its Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) solution, called TriplePoint, should help Raizen identify and mitigate operational risks. Furthermore, the company will be able to leverage granular, real-time data insights to make more informed market decisions.
Initially, Raizen will onboard its international sugar and biofuels trading onto TriplePoint by mid-2024.
"By working with ION to implement TriplePoint, we can optimise our trading operations and leverage consolidated insights across our key verticals in sugar and ethanol,” commented Fabio SantAnna, Director of Trading Operations, Raizen.
