Brazil's TTS Energia, Brasol sign deal for 5-MW solar project Solar PV plant in Brazil

Brazilian solar-focused engineering and construction company TTS Energia has entered into an agreement with BlackRock-backed peer Brasol for the construction of a 5-MW photovoltaic (PV) plant in the state of Tocantins.

The project will require an investment of BRL 25 million (USD 4.3m/EUR 3.9m), TTS Energia announced recently. The solar park will feature 10,000 solar panels and 20 inverters, built on an area of 72,000 square metres (775,002 sq ft) in the city of Miracema do Tocantins.

The facility is planned to commence operation in March 2025, with TTS Energia in charge of the engineering and construction work.

Jacques Hulshof, executive director of TTS Energia, noted that solar generation projects are a major trend for the Brazilian corporate market, as they ensure predictability, transparency and autonomy for their clients.
