Sep 19, 2024 13:28 CESTEngland-based HBS Group Southern today said it has sold its renewable energy business HBS NE Limited to construction materials company Brickability Group (LON:BRCK).
The investment will help HBS New Energies, HBS NE's trading name along with UPOWA, to grow further its solar, battery storage and electric vehicle (EV) charging installation services. Meanwhile, UPOWA will be able to expand its range of sustainable technology products for the housebuilding and construction sectors.
"As a market leader with a proven track record, we believe the acquisition of HBS NE Limited will further strengthen our strategic positioning within the wider market and enable us to expand into a
new product segment," Brickability Group's CEO, Alan Simpson, commented.
No financial details about the deal were provided.
