SOFIA (Bulgaria), December 23 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian car battery manufacturer MonBat [BUL:5MB] said on Tuesday its consolidated pre-tax profit declined by 2.2% to 26.3 million levs ($16.4 million/13.5 million euro) in the first eleven months of 2014.

Consolidated net sales revenues fell 4.8% to 208 million levs in the January-November period, MonBat said in a bourse filing.

The company's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounted to 38.6 million levs through November, down by 3.6%.

In November alone, MonBat posted a consolidated pre-tax profit of 2.7 million levs, a drop of 36.6% on the year, while its consolidated sales revenues was down by 2.1% to 24 million levs. The company's consolidated EBITDA decreased by 28.4% to 3.7 million levs last month.

MonBat operates four plants for manufacturing and recycling of lead-acid batteries, diodes and light-emitting diode luminaires.
