SOFIA (Bulgaria), October 26 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian car battery manufacturer MonBat [BUL:5MB] said on Monday its consolidated pre-tax profit fell by an annual 1.0% to 20.1 million levs ($11.4 million/10.3 million euro) in the first nine months of the year.

Consolidated net sales revenues rose 11.2% to 176.96 million levs in the January-September period, MonBat said in a bourse filing.

In September alone, the company's consolidated pre-tax profit dropped by an annual 46.4% to 2.1 million levs. Consolidated net sales revenues added 1.5% to 21.4 million levs.

MonBat operates four plants for manufacturing and recycling of lead-acid batteries, diodes and light-emitting diode luminaires.
