SOFIA (Bulgaria), April 1 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian car battery manufacturer MonBat [BUL:5MB] said its non-consolidated net profit fell by 41% over the year to 12.8 million levs ($7.0 million/6.5 million euro) in 2014.

Non-consolidated net sales revenues rose by 0.89% to 274.6 million levs last year compared to a year earlier, MonBat said on Tuesday in a bourse filing.

The company's operating expenses amounted to 237.6 million levs in 2014, up from 224.6 million levs in 2013.

MonBat operates four plants for manufacturing and recycling of lead-acid batteries, diodes and light-emitting diode luminaires.
