Bulgaria's Energo-Pro Energy Services said that it has built four photovoltaic (PV) plants with an installed capacity of 30 kWp each in the city of Dobrich for local agricultural machinery supplier Filipov.

Each of the PV plants is expected to generate 40,000 MWh of electricity annually, Energo-Pro Energy Services said in an e-mailed statement on Tuesday.

Two of the PV installations are equipped with monocrystalline solar panels while the other two have polycrystalline solar panels.

Energo-Pro Energy Services is a unit of Czech power utility Energo-Pro.

Dobrich-based Filipov is mainly active in the sale of machinery for processing of orchards and it has its own organic walnut and hazelnut orchards. Filipov is an official representative of Feucht Obsttechnik-Germany and AMB Rousset-France, which offer fruit harvesting and processing machines, according to information published on the company's website, .
