Bulgaria's NEK opens tender for new turbines at pumped storage plant
Sep 18, 2024 13:50 CESTSOFIA (Bulgaria), March 26 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian car battery producer MonBat [BUL:5MB] said on Tuesday its consolidated pre-tax profit jumped by an annual 222% to 5.5 million levs ($3.62 million/2.8 million euro) in the first two months of the year.
The company’s consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose by 95% to 7.7 million levs in the January-February period, compared with the same period of 2012, the MonBat said in a statement.
MonBat’s net sales revenue increased by an annual 63% to 44.58 million levs in the first two months of the year.
In February alone, the company’s consolidated pre-tax profit reached 2.5 million levs while its sales revenue rose to 19.7 million levs.
