Bulgaria's MonBat/MonBat Recycling 11-mo cons pre-tax profit falls 11%

The consolidated pre-tax profit of Bulgarian companies MonBat [BUL:5MB] and MonBat Recycling fell 11% to 18.02 million levs ($12.2 million/9.2 million euro) in the first eleven months of 2012, MonBat said on Friday.

Car battery maker MonBat and its scrap metal recycling unit MonBat Recycling posted combined net sales revenue of 194 million levs through November, flat on the year, MonBat said in a note to investors.

In November alone, their consolidated pre-tax profit rose by 37% on the year to 3.4 million levs, while consolidated sales revenue increased by an annual 22% to 24.3 million levs.
