Bulgaria's MonBat/MonBat Recycling 9-mo cons pre-tax profit falls 27%

SOFIA (Bulgaria), October 25 (SeeNews) – The consolidated pre-tax profit of Bulgarian companies MonBat [BUL:5MB] and MonBat Recycling totalled 10.9 million levs ($7.2 million/5.6 million euro) in the first nine months of 2012, 27% down on the year, MonBat said on Thursday.

Car battery maker MonBat and MonBat Recycling posted combined net sales revenue of 144 million levs through September, 6.0% down from a year earlier, MonBat said in a note to investors.

In September alone, the consolidated pre-tax profit rose to 3.67 million levs, while consolidated sales revenue increased by 32% to 23.6 million levs.
