Bulgaria's National Electricity Company - NEK, said that it has signed a 2 million levs ($1.1 million/1.0 million euro) contract with local company Delectra, which will design an integrate control systems for NEK-managed hydro power plants (HPPs) Batak, Peshtera and Aleko.

The deal was signed on April 19, NEK said in a notice on Thursday.

Ten companies submitted offers in the public procurement procedure for awarding the contract.

Delectra is fully owned by private investor Georgi Denkov, according to commercial register data.
