Bulgaria approves EU-backed grants for EUR 269m of RES projects
Nov 04, 2024 11:12 CESTSOFIA (Bulgaria), April 13 (SeeNews) – Bulgarian vertically integrated company Solarpro Holding said on Wednesday that its unit Automationpro signed a deal worth almost 1.0 million euro ($1.4 million) with Hungary's Green Solar Equipment Manufacturing to deliver equipment for solar panels production to a Chinese client.
Under the deal, Automationpro will deliver three laser scribing machines, Solarpro Holding said in a statement with the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, where it is listed.
"The fact that we are executing orders even for the Chinese market, speaks a lot about the high quality of the equipment and automotive solutions that we are offering," Nikolay Berov, member of Solapro Holding’s board of directors, said in the statement.
Green Solar Equipment Manufacturing (www.greensolar.hu) develops, manufactures and delivers turn-key manufacturing lines for low-cost mass-production of thin film solar modules.
Solarpro Holding is majority controlled by Bulgaria's Alfa Finance Holding which holds 58.95% plus additional 20.47% indirectly. Minority shareholders Nikolay Berov and Rumyana Georgieva own 6.5% each and the rest is in the hands of other small shareholders.
Its shares traded 2.88% lower at 0.505 levs ($0.372/0.258 euro) on the Sofia bourse by 0935 GMT on Wednesday as 664 shares had changed hands.
