Bulgaria's Stara Planina Hold cons sales rise 8.9% in 2013

Bulgarian blue-chip industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR] said on Thursday its consolidated sales increased by 8.9% to 178.6 million levs ($124.5 million/91.3 million euro) in 2013.

The group said in a bourse filing it expects consolidated sales to rise by an annual 7.67% to 14.75 million levs in January.

Stara Planina Hold said its subsidiary Hydraulic Elements&Systems [BUL:4HE] posted a 9.89% increase in 2013 turnover to 39.7 million levs. Another company from the group, M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH], a producer of hydraulic equipment, posted a 6.8% growth in sales to 85.3 million levs while the sales of car battery manufacturer Elhim Iskra [BUL:52E] rose by 2.38% to 31.4 million levs last year.
