Bulgaria's NEK opens tender for new turbines at pumped storage plant
Sep 18, 2024 13:50 CESTSOFIA (Bulgaria), February 24 (SeeNews) – Bulgaria’s Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR] said it expects its consolidated sales to increase 11.83% on the year to 15 million levs ($10.5 million/7.7 million euro) in February, reaching 30.4 million levs for the first two months of the year.
Consolidated sales rose 12.6% on the year to 15.4 million levs in January, Stara Planina Hold said in a notice filed with the Sofia stock exchange.
Subsidiaries M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH] and Hydraulic Elements&Systems [BUL:4HE] posted an increase of 17.2% to 8.0 million levs and 12.7% to 4.0 million levs in sales last month, respectively. Meanwhile, car battery manufacturer Elhim-Iskra [BUL:52E]’s sales dropped 4.8% to 2.5 million levs in January, the notice indicated.
M+S Hydraulic’s pre-tax profit amounted 1.6 million levs in January. Hydraulic Elements&Systems and Elhim-Iskra reported profits of 550,000 levs and 95,000 levs, respectively.
