Bulgaria’s Stara Planina Hold sees H1 sales up 6.15%

SOFIA (Bulgaria), June 23 (SeeNews) – Bulgaria’s industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR] said on Monday it expects its sales to grow by an annual 6.15% to nearly 96 million levs ($66.5 million/49 million euro) for the period January-June.

The sales of Stara Planina Hold's subsidiaries Hydraulic Elements&Systems [BUL:4HE] and M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH] are expected to increase by 10.49% and 6.9% , respectively, over the year while those of car battery manufacturer Elhim-Iskra [BUL:52E] are seen to decrease by an annual 9.49%, Stara Planina Hold said in a monthly investors’ bulletin.

Through May, Stara Planina’s consolidated sales rose by 9.39% year-on-year to nearly 80 million levs as in last month alone its sales amounted to 16.7 million levs.

M+S Hydraulic’s pre-tax profit amounted to 7.1 million levs in January-May as sales increased 9.27% on the year to some 41 million levs.

Hydraulic Elements&Systems (HES) posted a pre-tax profit of 2.6 million levs through May on sales of over 20.2 million levs, a jump of an annual 10.42%.

Elhim-Iskra made 440,000 levs in pre-tax profit in the first five months of the year as sales went down by an annual 3.42% to 11.1 million levs.
