Bulgaria's NEK opens tender for new turbines at pumped storage plant
Sep 18, 2024 13:50 CESTSOFIA (Bulgaria), July 23 (SeeNews) – Bulgaria’s industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR] said it expects its sales to grow by an annual 5.46% to 111.5 million levs ($78 million/57 million euro) in the seven months through July.
The sales of Stara Planina Hold's subsidiaries Hydraulic Elements&Systems [BUL:4HE] and M+S Hydraulic [BUL:5MH] are expected to increase by 12.21% and 7.1% , respectively, in the period under review, while those of car battery manufacturer Elhim-Iskra [BUL:52E] are seen falling 8.82%, Stara Planina Hold said in an investor bulletin published on Tuesday.
In the first half of the year, Stara Planina’s consolidated sales rose by 6.61% year-on-year to over 96 million levs as in June alone they amounted to some 16.7 million levs.
M+S Hydraulic’s first-half pre-tax profit amounted to 8.5 million levs as sales increased 7.36% to some 48.5 million levs.
Hydraulic Elements&Systems (HES) posted a pre-tax profit of nearly 3.1 million levs through June on a 10.94% increase in sales to some 23.9 million levs.
Elhim-Iskra posted a first-half pre-tax profit of 528,000 levs with sales falling by an annual 8.95% to nearly 13.2 million levs.
